Here's an example of how the free market works. The Nintendo DS is not a new system. It's not even really the best handheld out there. Now the DS is coming out with new games that are focusing on trying to help people improve themselves. The game specifically mentioned in the article is My Stop Smoking Coach. A game that helps people quit smoking. Did the government tell Nintendo to do this? No. Was there a voter referendum saying that games are too pro-smoking and that a non-smoking alternative needs to be marketed?
