Coach is Quitting

After being one of the greatest coaches in the league, John Madden went on to be the most recognized broadcaster in football (Howard Kosell is already dead I didn't forget about him). The release of his annual football video games has almost become a national holiday. Today, John is going home to put some tough-actin' Tinactin on his feet and supplement his retirement by putting in a shift at ACE, the helpful hardware place. boom. I'm gonna go weep now.

  2. Wait....I thought this was a political blog....

Not that this is interesting, but honestly, Madden has gotten just annoying in the last couple years. He has said lines such as "He had to catch that pass for it to be a completion!" That's not sports casting, just laughable. Good post, though.

So, since this is a political blog and such: You know, Texas and Vermont are threatening to secede from the Union. No thoughts on that? I mean, i already read and watched all about it, just thought at least one of you bloggers might want to express opinion on that nugget. If not, that's fine.
